Thanks for your feedback. 
I like the grubby quality to the image but playing with the contrast is something I'll definitely try. I don't want it to look too clean but it will be interesting to see how far it can be enhanced without losing its original quality. Will post back if I have success with that!</description>

		<description>Fantastic job. Never would have thought of scanning the two halves separately and giving them their own layers. I know this is a restore job so the ideal is to get it back to looking like the original but would you not mess around with the contrast to try and bring out more detail?
